Scenario Description
On the morning of May 11th German stormtroopers of the SS Standarte der Fuhrer attacked central Holland. The Grebheline was an outer Dutch defensive position extending from the Ijsselmeer, an artificial lake in the north, south to the rehbeberg, a hilly, wooded area east of Rhenen, just north of the Rhine River. The Grebbeline itself was comprised of a number of defensive lines: the outposts, the frontline, the stopline and the final line. The untested Dutch Army had to hold their ground or be crushed under the Blitzkrieg’s heavy boot.
