Scenario Description
After drinking their last bottles of wine on Christmas Eve, the Spahys di Libya were awoken by the sounds of noise and shots coming from a large group of Ethiopian attackers. The Spahys di Libya had the advantage of occupying the high ground of the Seleclaca Amba. The Ethiopians were exiting the gorge below the Amba with some racing straight towards the Amba, while others entered the woods on the flank of the Spahys di Libya. If the Ethiopians ere successful, the Spahys di Libya would be caught in a crossfire. Recognizing this fact, the officers of the Spayhs di Libya decided to take the initiative and attack the approaching Ethiopians to try and disruptand scatter the attack before it could organize properly.

Battle Narrative
The East African campaign was fought in East Africa during the Second World War by Allies of World War II, mainly from the British Empire, against Italy and its colony of Italian East Africa, between June 1940 and November 1941. The British Middle East Command with troops from the United Kingdom, South Africa, British India, Uganda Protectorate, Kenya, Somaliland, West Africa, Northern and Southern Rhodesia, Sudan and Nyasaland participated in the campaign. These were joined by the Allied Force Publique of Belgian Congo, Imperial Ethiopian Arbegnoch and a small unit of Free French.
