Scenario Description
In November 1941, during the last stage of the East Africa campaign, the British army attacked the mountainous area of Amhara defended by troops of Italian General Nasi. After the surrender of Uolchefit and Culquaber Pass garrisons, the Commonwealth troops arrived in front of Gondar, the last bastion of the Italian army in Abyssinia. On the 27th of November, the British attack began by the capture of Azozo airfield. Then the battle became a street fighting in the city of Gondar, to reach the Fasil Castle. At that time, the Italian defense was without hope. On the 30th of November, the last Italian defenders surrendered. With the fall of Gondar was the end of the Italian empire in East Africa.

The East African campaign was fought in East Africa during the Second World War by Allies of World War II, mainly from the British Empire, against Italy and its colony of Italian East Africa, between June 1940 and November 1941. The British Middle East Command with troops from the United Kingdom, South Africa, British India, Uganda Protectorate, Kenya, Somaliland, West Africa, Northern and Southern Rhodesia, Sudan and Nyasaland participated in the campaign. These were joined by the Allied Force Publique of Belgian Congo, Imperial Ethiopian Arbegnoch and a small unit of Free French.
