Scenario Description
Infanterie-Division 71 and 94 were pressing towards the Volga north and south of the Tsaritsa River, creating a salient of Soviet units just south of the city center. tasked with reducing the salient was Aufklarungs-Abteilung 171, commanded by Oberstleutnant Baron von Holtey. The objective would be to push through the park known as "1st of May Square" just south of the Rail Station and seize Gorky Theater, a large building located on the northeast side of the park.
