Scenario Description
Early in the morning of 20 September, a submachine gun-armed Sturmgruppe from Infanterie-Division 71 broke through along Moskovskaya Street and seized the main landing mole. At that moment ill fortune would have it that a flight of Stukas mistook the German troops for Soviets and subjected them to a devastating attack. Taking advantage of the resulting chaos, the Soviets mounted a counterattack with 100 men and 3 tanks which isolated the Sturmgruppe from the rest of its regiment. The German commander of the unit closest to the trapped Sturmgruppe immediately scraped together what troops he could to mount a relief attempt.
