Scenario Description
In late January, 1968, survivors of the 33rd Laotian Battalion streamed into the Special Forces camp at Lang Vei; their camp had been overrun by the North Vietnamese. A fight with the NVA wasn’t unusual, what was unusual was the rare appearance of NVA armor. The camp commander, Capt. Willoughby, sent a company-sized patrol south to seize the two hills overlooking Highway 9, the east/west road that led into Laos. If the tanks were coming Lang Vei’s way, Willoughby wanted to know about it.
