Scenario Description
The first tank battle between German and American forces took place near Chouigui Pass on November 25, 1942. A German column was headed south from Mateur to reinforce Axis troops that were retreating from Medjez-el-Bab and ran into Lt. Col. Waters, Patton's son-in-law, who was in command of elements of the U.S. 1st Armored Regiment. Waters forces were mainly Stuart tanks and proved to be no match for the German MkIV Panzers at first. But Waters had laid a trap and used Company A in the center as bait. As the German tanks move forward, Major Tuck's tanks from Company B, that were hidden behind the ridge, came over the crest and hit the Germans flank and rear. The Axis tankers fled and the first armored battle ended in a draw.

Battle Narrative
The Tunisian campaign was a series of battles that took place in Tunisia during the North African campaign of the Second World War, between Axis and Allied forces. The Allies consisted of British Imperial Forces, including a Greek contingent, with American and French corps. The battle opened with initial success by the German and Italian forces but the massive supply interdiction efforts led to the decisive defeat of the Axis. Over 250,000 German and Italian troops were taken as prisoners of war, including most of the Afrika Korps.
