Scenario Description
On July 10, 1943, after a long and violent fight, Hill 241.1 had finally been taken. Farther to the east, some units from the Aufklarung Abteilung had reached the outskirts of the Oktiabrskii State Farm and reported that the Soviets had set up a strong defensive line around the State Farm and a nearby hill, Hill 252.2. The German advance was then postponed until the next morning; Hill 252.2 would be their next objective. At 9:00 A.M. the next morning elements of the 1st SS Panzergrenadier Division Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler (LAH) began the assault on Hill 252.2. - Juan Carlos Cebrian

The Battle of Prokhorovka was fought on 12 July 1943 near Prokhorovka, 87 kilometers (54 mi) southeast of Kursk in the Soviet Union, during the Second World War. Taking place on the Eastern Front, the engagement was part of the wider Battle of Kursk, and occurred when the 5th Guards Tank Army of the Soviet Red Army attacked the II SS-Panzer Corps of the German Wehrmacht in one of the largest tank battles in military history.
