Scenario Description
For the remainder of 10 January, the Germans focused their efforts on securing defensive positions while aligning themselves for an assault on Rittershoffen via a sunken road originating from the northwest of Hatten. The American counterattack earlier in the day along the main road had failed. A second one, targeting the southern section of Hatten, came later on 10 January. Key locations for the American attack included the railway station and the road adjacent to the cemetery. This road was a critical supply route for the German units in Hatten.
