Scenario Description
The past couple of days had seen horrific fighting at the Stalingrad-1 Rail Station. On the morning of 16 September, the 1st Battalion of the 42nd Guards Regiment turned away an attack by twelve self-propelled guns with supporting infantry. Not long after the Germans renewed the attack, starting with a fierce bombardment by Stukas and artillery that "buckled the girders and blew down the walls". The a large force of tommy-gunners supported by some twenty self-propelled guns began to advance towards the Guardsmen, heralding yet another round of bloody close quarter combat.
