Scenario Description
On the day that Operation MARKET-GARDEN officially ended, the 7th Somerset Light Infantry was ordered to capture the crossroads in the center of Elst. Supported by a troop of tanks, the Somersets jumped off at 1000 hours on either side of the main street of Elst, moving towards the Nijmegen-Arnhem Highway through the dense town with its houses and small orchards. Major Knaust, however, was not yet ready to give up the town.
