Scenario Description
Two battalions of Regiment 194 were fighting hard to maintain their front along the riverbank, and pressure as increasing daily from both north and south. As light was fading on September 18th, a strong attack hit the southern flank, threatening to cut off the German salient and isolate Regiment 194. Guarding this flank was the sister Regiment 191, commanded by Col. Schmidt. Equipped with light anti-tank guns, the landsers of Regiment 191 could only watch in terror as T-34s lumbered towards them in the approaching darkness.
