Scenario Description
This was the end of the battle for Poland, Polish troops of the "Korpus Ochrany Pogranicza" (KOP - border defense corps) were withdrawing because of the Soviet invasion in the East of Poland. Near the village of Wytyczno, Polish soldiers were attacked by a tank unit of the Soviet 45th Rifle Division. The first attack was repelled and the Soviets lost four T-26 tanks, then the Polish took refuge in the forest behind the village. The battle continued for the capture of the village by the two parties. Polish command tried to counter-attack but the soldiers were exhausted and not enough ammunition for the guns. Finally, Polish soldiers withdrew in the forest in small groups to avoid the capture.

The invasion of Poland marked the beginning of World War II. The German invasion began on 1 September 1939, one week after the signing of the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact between Germany and the Soviet Union, and one day after the Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union had approved the pact. The Soviets invaded Poland on 17 September. The campaign ended on 6 October with Germany and the Soviet Union dividing and annexing the whole of Poland under the terms of the German–Soviet Frontier Treaty.
