Scenario Description
The Battle of Mont Pinçon took place over the course of several days, the culmination of Operation Bluecoat. On August 6th, the British XXX Corps attacked about five miles south of Aunay-Sur-Odon. The Axis repelled the initial assault by the 43rd Wessex but an armored assault in the afternoon by the Hussars was able to reach the top after they found a narrow track that was less defended than the main approach. Infantry support joined the tanks and consolidated the British gains; Operation Bluecoat was a success.
